Technology

SorTek overband magnets are distinguished by extremely powerful and far-reaching magnetic fields. They are suspended above a conveyor belt and attract the magnetic parts, pulling them up and out of the material flow. Overband permanent magnets are often self-cleaning and equipped with a circular conveyor belt; the extracted iron is conveyed out of the magnetic field by belt and carried bars and then discharged.
