Incineration bottom slag

The effective separation solutions for wet processing of waste incineration slag.

Bottom slag is created from the domestic waste incineration, which contains 4-8% ferrous metal and roughly 2% non-ferrous metal. To recycle the metal efficiently, the most complete sorting and separation of the metal components is essential. The metals can be recycled and used in the metallurgy industry, and the mineral sand can be reclaimed as a substitute construction material.

Slag discharged from the incinerator plant with wet conditions presents a particular challenge for subsequent processing. Depending on the proper combination of machinery, a high yield can be achieved and make a high profitability for the plant.

The pieces of iron tramp can be obtained, and grains and pieces of aluminum are contained. The fine fractions contain a particularly high proportion of recoverable heavy metals such as copper. Because electronic components with tiny parts are burnt along with the municipal solid waste, a significant proportion of noble metals such as gold and silver are present.

To recycle the iron tramps, aluminum and copper, the magnetic equipment play the key role in the line. Combined with other machinery, such as jiggers, shaking tables, the yield of the metals can be achieved maximumly.

For the separation of iron tramps and grain size of ferromagnetic materials, the specially designed permanent magnetic pulley, self cleaning overband magnetic separator, magnetic drums and wet drum separator offer the highest separation efficiency.

The eddy current separator with innovative design concept is optimally adapted for aluminum recycling. The machine is easy operated and free maintainence. It’s an expert to separate aluminum pieces with size 5mm plus, and also it challenges to recycle the grain size up to 0.5mm. To higher the yield of the metal, a two-stage separator is designed innovatively with a special designed conveyer connecting the two stages.
