SorTek Magnetic drum SSX

A magnetic drum attracts iron tramps from the bulk materials flow on the conveyor. The drum is steel armed to prevent wear or damage on the drum surface. Magnetic drum with strong neodymium permanent magnets can assure a high recovery. The drum is generally suitable for high iron volume material with bigger particle size.

Technology

Similar to a magnetic head pulley, the circular rotating magnet firmly holds the tramp iron contained in the bulk material on the conveyor belt, and the iron tramps are self-discharged on the drum. The structure is extremely compact, with a magnetic pole system, driving unit, a drum shell, and a standing frame.
